  11 walks the file descriptors of a process looking for pipes (see
  12 .IR pipe (3))
  13 and then finds the processes on the other end of these pipes
  14 repeating the process recursively. The result is a tree of
  15 alternating process and filedescriptor nodes that make up the
  16 process pipeline.
